£Billions moved from public to private purse and what we need to rebuild (education + health) are gone.
Aside from the financial/organisational issues, HE has huge PR issues.
As Brexit demonstrated, the educated & culturally engaged portion of the population is expected to accept being sacrificed to placate the baying ignorant.
