Wait the vaccine got approved for use in backyard flocks? Is there a link for this? Thank you! (Biden didn't approve it b/c it's not sterilizing so they worried abt it driving mutations, & also b/c we can't export vaccinated broilers b/c it triggers "has HPAI" tests & that would kill our industry.)

For the record, having dedicated teams of researchers at the ready to continuously study and update the public on emerging (health) threats is the kind of thing that universities are really good at, and why it's worth continuing to fund them. The indirect costs pay for these direct public benefits.
