I’m seeing videos of several Senators and Representatives, but no cohesive effort. Why aren’t they on the street as a group to protest these actions. THAT would absolutely get widespread sharing and coverage!

I think it’s less donor capture and more self-loathing. As the right has done with the MSM they’ve beaten Dems down and convinced them that doing things that make logical sense are leading them awry. It helps explain the fetishization of bipartisanship and wanting to be friends with R colleagues.

Republicans bully people into doing dumb shit for them. Jim Comey elected Trump because he didn’t want House Republicans to yell at him in a future hearing; the media both sideses things and pulls punches in response to bogus bias charges. Many Dems think saying things that aren’t “tested” is scary.
