Zelenskyy has had to put up with 4 PMs. Johnson couldn't resist using him for his own self promotion, but to be fair he said the right things, Truss, well, did they even meet? Sunak was unequivocal in his support, Starmer is 10/10 - genuine warmth and determined that good will triumph over evil.

I was frustrated there was no public word from Starmer the night before, to include the UK in the compelling lists of countries speaking up.

But this was well done, and I’m glad of it. Walking to meet him, the hug - Starmer’a not a touchy-feely sort, far as I can see, but this was well done.

Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland aren't well considered either by Starmer. It's not even clear how good he is for England with his drive eg to privatise the NHS.
