I understand why Miyazaki chose this animal for his latest movie. Even in real life, just looking at a picture of it, it looks like it could have a similar personality to the one portrayed in the anime.
It's the latest Ghibli movie, apparently a metaphor about Hayao Miyazaki's life. I went in completely blind and I don't regret it, it is an amazing movie.
I am so happy to see their population come back. I remember the days prior to DDT, so I have watched them nearly disappear and rebound. Some with bald eagles. I never saw one growing up, but we have a thriving population now.
