I realise that you as a cis person could follow up by saying in a wise tone "well, these are the dangers of being dependent on a drug" but you don't say that about other drugs. When it's a drug that's necessary for *you* to live you are perfectly capable of understanding that it is not optional.

It’s health-Calvinism: if you need medical intervention you must’ve done something wrong (got vaccinated, drank pasteurized milk, whatever). A “pure” person therefore needs no medical intervention. Similarities to race theory are not imagined
