for me, allowing the pipeline up north to exist, despite numerous leaks & constant, grueling protests from Indigenous peoples, all so wealthy people can become more rich, has long made me distrust Walz as a leader. it’s naive to overlook blatant inconsistencies. it is not naive to ask for integrity.

and frankly I’m tired of friends and colleagues who purportedly care about progressive causes telling me to swallow such issues because these are “the rules of the game” and you “have to take wins where you can”. we get one life to live, why cant we demand better for each other
