I’m going with improperly stored fireworks in the bed.
Let’s make sure we only slag the Incel Camino for its very serious flaws, as opposed to things that really are due to the obvious stupidity of the sorts of people who buy them.
Fireworks in the bed. we know the frame and body sometimes carries a live current due to faulty engineering. I bet some current made contact with a fuse in the bed and set it off. Nothing nefarious just bad engineering.
How can it possibly be faulty engineering when Musk is insisting he can only hire the best and brightest brown skin immigrants. Not the ones from Mexico, of course, but the ones who are, you know, smarter and not as lazy as Americans 🙄
I’m no fan of musk, and I’ll never buy a Tesla as long s he’s part of it, but your meme is incorrect. The teslas didn’t all “blow up” and gassers catch on fire all the time.
I doubt the battery had anything to do with that explosion. The battery is underneath he chassis in a protective casing, has venting to protect from pressure build-up and is more likely to burn than explode.
That looks like an explosive device in the truck along with a crapload of fireworks...
...BUT - importantly - if you own a Tesla, learn all about the "emergency" exit pull cables hidden away behind plastic covers in the rear doors. The outer door handles and inner door openers on Teslas are electric-only...
...No mechanical linkage between them. The front doors have easily accessible mechanical interior openers. If in an accident that causes an airbag to deploy, all the electrics in the car are shutdown (safety measure)...
...From that moment, the only way to exit the car is via the front doors or the trunk/boot/rear hatch. No way to get into the car from the outside except by breaking a window or putting an axe through the aluminium door panel to access the emergency cable...
...If you have a Tesla, regularly practice emergency exit procedures for back seat passengers. They have to remove parts of the rear door trim to gain access to the pull cable.
There endeth today's "how to survive a Tesla" lesson.
Journalist Eric Lipton has reported one person died as a result of the cyber truck (made by Tesla). The explosion 💥 has caused 1 death thus far in Las Vegas.
Given the symbolism of this explosion, I wonder how secure Tesla vehicles are against hacking? Did a hacker get into the car's onboard computer, mess with its battery in order to cause it to overheat and explode? I've no idea. If not it would be a *huge* coincidence.
I would think if this was a terrorist attack or something we would have the perpetrator on video but who knows. probably just Tesla being shit per usual.
It sounded like fire works going off in the one video, I wasn't sure, and the news readers were acting like they couldn't hear it. Seems like a lot of fireworks.
Terrorists really like to kill people, especially suicide bombers. And this explosion did not do that at all. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but a suicide bomber trying to make a weird internet meme is a very low probability event.
Wow, after watching the video of the Tesla Cybertruck explosion at the entrance of Trump's Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas, this has the appearance of a planted bomb... just sayin'... -DW #democracy #freedoms #Constitution #ILoveAmerica
If you know the backstory, the guy who designed the Pinto did so to prevent fatal accidents by moving the gas tank as far away from the driver as possible. His dad had been killed in a car accident because the gas tank was close to the engine. His motives were good, but the design was flawed.
MAGAts in Congress could use this to pass legislation allowing the president to suspend the rule of law under article One, Section 9, clause 2, whereby "The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in cases of REBELLION or INVASION THE PUBLIC SAFETY may require it."
Putin-khuylo has ordered his "sleeping terrorists" to attack. He demands "deals on my terms." That's how he started the "conversation" with Trump. How will Don react?
I'm going to guess it was someone not too bright who hates Trump and Musk (as do most of us) who somehow thought blowing up a Cybertruck with fireworks would actually do damage to anything beyond himself.
Doesn't look like an electrical short/malfunction to me. Looks more like an explosive with possible fireworks added.
My guess - a MAGA who got woke and realized he's been scammed, not only by a overpriced, crap auto manufacturer but by the fool for whom he voted.
I have always maintained that electric vehicles are safe but teslas are not. I hope the doctor who works in the hospital where I'm getting labs tomorrow sees this and doesn't park in the parking garage next to the hospital.
one less rolling brick on the road. that's a good thing.
It does have a rather stark message for 🍊🍕💩 & Elmo. This wasn't the explosive battery angle that I was thinking earlier. With new info this appears to be a suicide 💣 mission. If they find that this person was an Illegal, then we know top MAGA had prior knowledge. Just botched their public reaction.

I would sell that metal shit and use the money for hungry people.

Stop the oligarchs from stepping over qualified Americans. Hire Americans & pay them. Are you listening you selfish POS Musk.
1 of them has the battery pack underneath the back seat.
The driver was killed and, so far, the only casualty from the incident. Seven bystanders had minor injuries, authorities said.

what an absolute joke of a product. On some Ford Pinto shit.
Either idiocy (fireworks in trunk), vehicle safety issues (battery explosion), or both.
Everyone: "The exploding Cybertruck in front of a Trump hotel is the most positive and beautiful thing we could find."
Not very well planned thankfully
Cybertrucks are dumb and Teslas are garbage.
All that aside, that's a detonated bomb, not a defective vehicle.

Dangerous garbage.

Putin didn’t like Trump’s proposal to settle the Ukraine war, apparently.
Truck go BOOM.
This exploded!
