Just because Libertarians believe it would improve the status quo to move some services offered by the government to the private sector doesn't mean we avoid consuming government services when the government has a monopoly and we have little choice in the matter.

There was a time when fire brigades were private. They were owned by insurance companies and would put out fires in houses who had paid their premiums. You can still see signs on older houses with the symbols of insurance companies on them.
