I loathe Musk, but friends bought Teslas for good environmental reasons, and do not deserve to be punished for Musk's idiocies.
Protest, picket - but grow up and don't burn.

As long as regular people are at each other's throats, the oligarchs (including Musk) gets to do what they want.
Also consider that quite a few Teslas come with free supercharging (lifetime on older models). Which would serve to drain money from Tesla, but not if the car is destroyed.
Most EV owners care about climate change, but it's easy to see that flip to a "f it" attitude.
Also, insurance covers vandalism. Let them devaluate (??) all on their own. The slow, painful way.

The insurance payoff is the equivalent of someone buying one.
