Are you allowed to say that in the U.S.A? I thought Snoop was your international representative or some shit. Like the time he blew smoke rings into the Olympic logo at the recent Olympic games. Everybody loved it! The Olympics seemed to be mainly about Snoop.
While it's great and all that Snoop released a new album, it's been completely eclipsed this weekend by the release of Mayor Breslin's Jingle Bulb Bash. Dre's got nothing on Jenny Stardust.
What’s the best rap album made by an Old Guy? Rap seems like stand-up where as you get older and more comfortable you just naturally lose the edge necessary to be great
Gil Scott Heron did some of his best stuff when he was old.
I know that he was a father of rap not a rapper, but his late stuff like New York is killing me is brilliant.
Ghostface was good into his 40s but this is a good question
Lotta great older underground rappers. Billy Woods and Ka (RIP) for example- incredible depth of knowledge and skill, willing to take artistic risks because they don’t really have to worry about falling off the mainstream.
I know every rapper doesn't have to be Kanye or Tyler, but goddamn it helps to go into the studio and try to make something truly new and authentic. The laundry has been folded too many goddamn times by now. We need something else.

But surprisingly that LL cool j album is pretty good compared to most of these geriatric rappers.
