I've written a play about 4 actors from a production of Waiting For Godot, who are waiting for the producer to appear, on the day the theatres closed 5 years ago. On tomorrow at 2.15, then afterwards on BBC Sounds. No pressure...

I remember being due to watch Showstoppers that night. They gamely tried to do it online, but you could tell their hearts weren't in it, and it didn't last too long. Horrible times.
I love Waiting for Godot and this is a brilliant tribute/sibling piece. Started listening thinking I'd do half hour on my drive home then ended up with the rest in my headphones because I had to finish it.
Was mulling on the lack of art that came out of Covid, and how most creatives seem to find it easier to ignore it just the other day; Sheen/Tennant, @aiannucci.bsky.social’s slim volume of verse, and that’s about it - I look forward to giving this a listen.
