The British people did vote for Brexit again with the 2019 'get brexit done' election (and lying disastrous Johnson as PM). Why do people keep forgetting that?

I agree. But too simplistic a view. Trump 1.0 was chaos, but for the most part was constrained. Trump 2.0 is far, far worse. Brexit may have set the UK back, but it’s recoverable. The US will be unrecognizable after 4 yrs of unconstrained sycophancy.
