They are doing their best with little to no support from the media. This is why they resort to stunts like this to get some publicity. For serious stuff look at questions at PMQs, appearances on Question Time etc.

I vote Lib Dem. I have spoken to many people over recent years who do not consider Lib Dem’s a serious option saying it’s a “wasted vote and they will never win”. I think Lib Dem’s need to get serious about reversing some of these perspectives.

I'm ashamed that British media will only bother reporting on a party with 72 (?) seats in Parliament making it the third largest party when the leader is being a bit of a muppet. Whereas if the exécrable Farage coughs or snorts, he gets 3 days of political analysis and 40 media appearances.
