Not a help for this specific task, but LEO Dublin City have a range of digital supports (assessment & advice) which will give you free access to digital advisors - worth checking out, new scheme this month

A small distinction, but attendance at meetings would be more variable than membership of the council. And there's no need to change the list on the council tracker that often, although it'd do no harm.

So I can see that there's a CSV that was used to generate a new "CouncilSession" with the latest candidates. Is the goal to negate the need for that and have it happen automatically by scraping that list you linked?

I'd rather we could manually update the kist of councillors on our council tracker website, rather than scraping a council page, which would mean relying on the council to be timely and accurate.

Although, those attendance lists can be pretty unreliable, because attendance is taken at one point in time, and more councillors might potentially come in late and vote on things after attendance is taken, but not be included in that list as present.

Well no inside info but from looking at webcasts councillors seem to be pressing a button to record their votes. This wasn’t the case 5 years ago as far as I know.

There is a new system, introduced at the September council meeting (I think? first one in the chamber after summer)
But it hasn't been used for voting since then, because of problems integrating councillors dialing in.

I think the big difference is to speaking. When you press the button beside your mike you are put in a queue, so the Lord Mayor doesn't have to track who speaks next. The mike changes colour when it is your turn to speak.

Thanks, I'll ask the council whether this new system will have any impact on what vote informatio the public can access and in what fashion.
