i can’t believe all it took for tesla stock to recover a bit was to do a paid photo op with the president of the united states, have the government designate vandalism on teslas as terrorism, gift multiple politicians and police stations teslas for photo ops, and get corrupt government contracts

Nah, technically it was due to have a recovery bounce. All the shorts buying back shares was a big part of that bounce. Retail piled in too. It's given holders a chance to get out and will likely head back down.

“Free Market” ideology is sold to the general population by Public Relations firms, funded by the ultra wealthy like Charles Koch and Betsy Devos.

It’s modeled after Devos’s AmWay multi-level marketing. At the bottom are losers that buy-in but can’t sell it to pro-democracy, pro-regulation peers.

The firms serve as distributors to those losers at the bottom, they make a bonus for each click/share/engagement. The fucked up thing is, these are 501c3 and 4 nonprofits. They receive contributions from undisclosed donors, and payout bonuses from the donor pool & give awards for initiatives.
