The lesson of today is: Never let impostor syndrome hold you back. There's almost no way you're actually less competent than some of the people in charge.

We could have locked a chimp in the Oval Office and just let everything coast for four years and the only thing we’d have to clean up is some shit on the walls.
If you're ever afraid to share a good idea, just remember someone had the guts to walk into a pitch meeting and say "Lets make a Joker sequel...and make it a musical"
No, I'm not and the pathetic part is I have zero college education. This isn't something I'm bragging about. It's just a fact that I am pointing out. I feel like non-college educated people shouldn't be smarter than people running our government.
I always thought that a law degree was best for running for office because it was a sign of intelligence but now? I do have a Bachelor’s degree and feel worlds above some of these hacks! You too probably have a higher IQ than most of these people whom call themselves leaders.
Strange how the people that are absolutely the worst at doing something—and now find themselves running our country—have the opposite of Imposter Syndrome. It’s top level example of mediocre wealthy white men failing upwards. No wonder they have it out for DEI and anyone under its umbrella.
I used to think I wasn't smart enough for an Ivy League school or law school. Then people like Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley came along, and I realized I was just not rich or well-connected enough.
Every timu that I start to worry about having imposter syndrome I just remind myself that I have never accomplished anything good enough to warrant having it. That always puts my fear of having imposter syndrome at ease.
A story i always come back to is the time domonique foxworth, an nfl player and mba holder, became nfl players association prez and met with all the owners for the first time and realized
None of these people are smarter than me, just mostly luckier

Wait.
The rest is pretty foolproof.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realize half of them are stupider than that.
