They used to target women, but that became socially unacceptable. Then they went after gays.
If they win in making trans people pariahs, they will go after guys again. Then they will go after women again. Then they will go after men who aren't "real men".

It really does all come down to men being entitled to all the energy in the room and feeling threatened by women doing literally anything ever aside from stroking their egos
After all, it's not like we don't have models of manhood who demonstrate the values you're espousing.
