Secondly, this creates a segregation in which Trans Gender and Cis Gender are fundamentally different. A degendered lesbian and a degendered trans woman cannot have these experiences in common because only one of them has the Wrong Sex, and that Wrong Sex is 'male.'

one thing that surprised me was how many transmedicalist trans people, despite asserting that they are more female/male than other trans people due to having this Rare Medical Condition still generally end up asserting that their sex is contiguous with how they were assigned at birth

like even as they argue that they are physically different due to in utero hormones and brain sex, they're still limited to "and this is the only way to treat my psychiatric condition" rather than arguing for the malleability of sex

I do like the explanation, but the thought that "transness is a disability" just pushes the idea into the realm of ableism.

And it still doesn't account for nonbinary or genderfluid cases.

To reiterate the point, consolidating transphobia and ableism isn't the answer, because those things are already the same sort of bigotry: othering. The answer is for people to stop being bigots.

Oppression functions through systemic social forces. I would argue that presenting an individualistic solution to it (people just stopping being bigoted) isn't exactly helpful.
