the thing about being married to someone you love is that you never stop falling in love. i fall in love with him every day over and over and everything i do is because i love him and i get to see in his eyes that he loves me too

I hate to say this, but this will change when you are 20 years into your marriage. It is good that you are laying a good solid foundation in those early years, because you will need that bedrock to be firm later.
Every time we get separated in a supermarket his face lights up when he sees me again. His love has remained true through psychosis, body changes, disablity, and a whole new gender. He comes home and my day is immediately better.
We still hold hands in our sleep sometimes and like telling each other about things we heard or saw that reminded us of each other. I'm glad people get to experience this. It helps make life worth the bother.
I think anyone who is lucky enough to have spent a lifetime with some they love will recognise what you have expressed. Me and Katrina gave been together. 41 years, and we still love each other's company.
I'm currently in a VA Hospital. My wife, who rightly has a life of her own, comes nearly every day to spend an hour.

I’ve had a ….different experience after years of medical issues, having kids, and financial problems. But I am glad for you that you are still able to maintain that view. It is rare. 💜

my husband loves Bruce Springsteen and often puts his music on the playlists he makes me. one day i came home, cued up Prove It All Night on my phone, and at the appropriate part turned around to show him I had in fact tied my hair up in a long white bow. i will never forget the way he looked at me
