i love listening to people so much. not in a weird way, just overhearing things that i happen to be right place, right time for. this lady walked in to the vet and the tech said "you said your cat has been acting weird?" and she said "he's been acting like a rabbit"

Second: how dare you remind me of the strangely wet and hairy looking illustrations in those books. For SHAME, madame!
"He's just been so weird since I broke up with my boyfriend"
Although he pronounced it “who-moose”
Girl: (exasperated amusement) "I told him I really wasn't in to him, he asked why, to let him down easy I said 'I just prefer guys with facial hair.'
The next time he approached me, he'd drew a mustache on
..."
Girl with her friend 10-12 year olds, angsty ranting "Uhg, I just don't get it, why are we even supposed to LIKE boys? He's just so dang stupid, I can't stand him at all! I hate and like him but he is so freakin DUMB. What is wrong with me Jenny?"
I did get to watch a little boy crouch by one of our tables, Olympic sprinter style, and dash head first into the corner of it. Landed dramatically on his butt, like a cartoon.
Unphased just got up and started giggling and clapping,
I loved overhearing that and it stayed with me.

1: "i was like, 'what was that noise?'"
2: "oh, i threw a lint roller at him"
Apparently I was the office pressure-relief valve. Always entertaining.
"There's a reason you're having these experiences." Right?
I keep telling myself
Overhearing hilarious things and not being awkward or obvious about it
