he doesn't really seem to like piles of laundry or blankets, i think he doesn't trust that they're safe yet? once he figured out his soft blanket on the bed though it was over
My first stray was the same since day 1. Sported both fight and frostbite scars. Came home fully socialized, like he had been living with us since kittenhood
I honestly feel like his life wasnβt started as a stray, he had someone that loved him very much and something happened where he had to survive by himself. And it was rough, but he remembered the good person. And now, he has found βthe good personβ.
My cat was never with physical scars but he was definitely abused before I got him as a kitten based on half the stuff he's scared of.... bags, brooms, belts..... after 12 years, still afraid.
He's the nicest soul... sometimes they're just grateful to be safe, I guess. ;')
I have found that the tougher the life before ending up with me the more content they are to just be. He is a handsome boy and itβs been fun watching him get comfy, well done!
im my experience with fosters and rescues i have found that they go to f'n town on the 'get cozy' business once they start to really believe that this is where food comes from and they don't have to stress about it
