Gotta feel a little bit sorry for the numbnuts who gave Tesla deposits for vehicles that never materialised.
The failing of the company won't help their already dim chances of ever getting their money ('returnable deposits') back.
I read about one guy who paid a deposit on a roadster 8 years ago, cancelled and requested his refund the same year. No refund despite years of pushing for it but this year got an invoice from Tesla demanding the balance 'owed' on the car that doesn't exist.
There's no evidence supporting your view. Thus far he has been offering pretty good bang for our buck.
Problem is Labour are REALLY awful at getting across some pretty hot s**t that they are doing.
Renter reforms, workers's right vastly improved to name but two.
He will end up costing US taxpayers more money. The Federal jobs being axed will still have to be done, but now they have been privatised and will be done less efficiently and for profit.
Watched a news report on it earlier. I think Musk has accepted that itβs lost the no.1 spot to BYD. So direct to consumer less of a focus (this is the point where he dropped his inhibitions and could show everyone his true colours).
The focus is now towards B2B with developments like the Robotaxi.
Sadly, given that he now gets to use the US government for unlimited grift, this doesnβt really hurt Musk in any substantial way. But itβs still better than the company remaining successful
I wouldn't read too much into this statement. Now don't get me wrong, I've grown to dislike Elon a lot, but profits going down is at many times a normal thing to happen. Have to look into details of why and then assess if it's a worry.
Musk entering the finding out stage is very refreshing. The Board has a fiduciary obligation to shareholders to protect and grow shareholder value, and with Musk holding 13% of shares and no over all control, please tell me that we are about to see a hostile takeover and Musk getting the boot.
Don't bother watching the review... the comments below are priceless!

The dumbarse proved his grasp of IT was poor when he asked for help solving a basic user issue on Xitter. He gets others to play computer games for him cos he's crap at it. Like Trump and golf. Only achievement is success at cheating. But for some reason these days, cheats are allowed to win.

His Space X operations for America have not exactly been value for tax payer dollars to date.

Slow clap π to Musk. Presumably the damage to the brand doesn't concern him?

I think we are beginning to see the old chestnut appearing of, 'never mix business and politics'
How sad.
Never mind.
