the venn diagram of stuff i think i will eat when i am meal planning vs stuff i want to eat at actual dinner time is two circles, separated by an infinite distance through time, space, and other dimensions whose qualities are so inconceivably foreign to us that we could not possible conceive of them

I cook when I’m in the mood, but if not hungry I’ll make stuff to be “leftovers”. Then later when hungry I have food ready.
I’ll make a lot so I can store some for a couple of days. Doing that a few times I have a variety of meals ready to choose from.

Then I can have chili or have the breasts ready to make sandwiches or a fast pasta dish, etc.
The secret to cooking… be lazy.
Like: browned beef or turkey with peppers, onion, canned beans, prepared mac & cheese (cheddar is good), season with e.g. salsa, hot sauce, cilantro (from a tube is fine), condensed tomato soup, whatever, it's all good.
There's just no way to cram all that stuff (nutrients, calories, protein, fiber) into a pill.
You'd need to eat a plate or bowl full of pills. (And a ton of water)
Better to just eat food.
Or a "meal replacement" shake/smoothie.
