The day after the Colts deleted a Minecraft-themed schedule release video Wednesday night that seemed to mock Tyreek Hill’s past legal troubles, Hill weighed in on social media.

Not sure what's so special that makes him hands off on jokes. Dozens of people in the NFL before him have been the butt of jokes for years and still going now.
I can't tell if you can tell that it was a joke lmao
the conversion of "making fun" of people from a form of inclusion to a form of exclusion is a deliberate divide and conquer strategy that has been incredibly effective
many of the other schedule announcement videos featured some pretty mean jokes at the expense of other players and those videos are still up, so if someone is trying to prevent people from making fun of other people, it clearly hasn't been all that effective!
Never did and never will understand how and why *some* people find joy and laughter at deliberately belittling other people. I assume (could be wrong) that somehow, they feel better about their own shitty self if they can somehow get others to agree someone else is shittier.
You misunderstood, I’m not saying the Colts have a good sense of humor for making a joke, I’m commenting on how Hill handled it with grace and has a sense of humor and isn’t letting it get under his skin which is an admirable trait.
In any situation when a person could very easily get angry and lash out but chooses not to I’d say that is always the correct choice. I have no idea what Hills legal troubles are and the post doesn’t link to it.
But, according to what the Colts actually posted.. it’s a direct reference to two traffic violations which were dismissed. Not anything that you are talking about.
Exactly. And for the record, when a victim/the butt of someone else's *joke* (at their expense) 'laughs along', it isn't because they think it's funny. It's hurtful. It's survival. Because doing otherwise usually causes the *joke teller* to double down and engage in even more targeted degredation.
The Colts took down the video, which was posted on X, within hours of publishing it. Indianapolis apologized to Hill and Microsoft, which owns the studio that created and developed Minecraft.
He's literally laughing at their joke? I mean he's a scumbag, but what about this tells you that he can't take a joke? As long as it isn't his s/o or child, he seems to be able to joke around
When creativity crosses the line into controversy, it’s a sign the playbook needs a rewrite. Respect should never be sidelined-no matter the theme or platform. 🏈🎮

It would be simply the NKL(National KICKBALL league)... nothing but punting.
DEAR BLACK MEN:
DEMAND RESPECT from those who need you to generate income ✊🏽
Didn't you get the memo?

that's my actual philosophy on jokes
And in general, if someone is causing problems, is it better to try to address the tension with a laugh, or to vilify and ostracize them?
Is it worse to have to take some jokes or get kicked out of society entirely?
touch choice~
