There's a lighthouse in Iceland that sits on the highest of three rocks six miles off the Icelandic coastline, built in 1939 on top of an extremely steep and dangerous rocky cliff. It's the Þrídrangar lighthouse.

One article says it was built in 1939 using helicopters (which were practically invented that same year) 😄 So I cant imagine shuttling up tons of concrete as an early test case!
After #DonaldTrump sends #Marines to take over Greenland, he will recognize his *map error* (as in 2019, insisting Hurricane Dorian crossed Alabama)/& realize it's not Greenland he's coveted all this time but Iceland—precisely to take possession of Þrídrangar lighthouse—as his Fortress of Solitude.
I'm supposing there's some truly incredible way to get there which doesn't include a helicopter. Getting building materials and workmen up there in 1939 would have been tricky! And NO drinking for the Lightkeeper!
TODAY ONE CAN „helicopter in“, I GUESS. .. BUT HOW DID „whoever“ GET UP THERE IN 1939 TO WORK, NOT TO MENTION How was the light house built, you know? how workers, construction materials/etc. got up there⁉️
Nah. Looks like AI. Look at that ocean down below. No way in 1939 they could get the materials there. Nowhere to unload. And how to get up there? 🤷🏻♀️
I wonder if it's courage or a desire to leave the world behind and savor nature in its rawest form. Does one need to be an extreme introvert? But then, these days with the Internet and social media, one can be always connected. Then again, me thinks it's the perfect "tower" to send
