Newspapers are only as good as the journalists that write for them, let the Observer go, have a Sunday edition of the Guardian and watch the new owners scramble for an audience and realise they’ve made a colossal business error.

Why are Tortoise Media bad? You're getting the point out that you're cross about this, but totally ignoring saying why the deal is bad. It just sounds like moaning. The old Observer died a decade ago. It's the Guardian on Sunday and you can barely click any story without being sucked into the weekday paper.

It no longer has an identity.

It's like Jaguar, out of time unless relaunched.
