"Fascism" is armed terror with marching boots which may still come but may also not (Hungary).
"Techno-Authoritarianism" nails it but nobody can pronounce it or has the time to do so.
How to survive that?
We are back to when global nuclear destruction is well back up the possibilities.
Or perhaps probabilities.
