The ADA is largely unenforced. It looks pretty good on paper but in practice they are at our level or much worse.

I will say right away that disability is not something i have studied (only something i have lived, and only certain types of disabilities) so i am definitely cannot state this as an objective fact , only as my assessment !

And it is also more something Europe is bad at than the US is good at

From what I have heard you can get away with ADA violations because people have to sue you for them, and access to the legal system is extremely limited for poorer people (ie most disabled people)

Ons stelsel voor sociale zekerheid voor handicap is beter (niet goed genoeg, maar beter), maar inclusie en toegankelijkheid zijn veel sterker in de wet verankerd in de VS, waardoor je veel sterker juridisch in je schoenen staat.

Our disability laws are great but often ignored because you have to go to court to get them enforced, which is frustrating and possibly malicious... but still preferable to many other systems I know about. Whole world needs to improve in that category.
