Are you asking for news coverage? I think news sites are busy reporting on other devastating current events.
The original thread has at least 5 independently reported sightings of it at Caltech (all accounts from 2-15 years of age). Perhaps more pictures/confirmations will be posted.
Well, you probably know this just as much as I do, but Thermo has pretty much bought the market and are one of the very few scientific instruments and reagents vendors left. Much harder to boycott an oligopoly and they know it
