So much of the show is about the people, rather than the technology or the space wizardry.

This is a high drama / thriller that just so happens to take place long ago in a galaxy far away. It feels like a script they stole from a better show and painted "Star Wars" on top of.

The way they put a bow on it in the final episode is graceful and powerful and pays off in so many ways. I am in awe of just how much juice Gilroy and his team got out a STAR WAR this late in the game. A miracle.

Love everything about it. They made 2 characters that worship the Empire at least marginally sympathetic. Also took a bit character from S1 and made her the best character not named Andor (Cleia). Just a masterclass all around. The best of Disney Star Wars far and away
