If it ends up being anything like Days of Our Lives, be prepared for "glacial until it isn't", like when the babies born on the show are suddenly homewreckers overnight and whatnot.

I tried it too and not only does it move slow as hell but every single character speaks only in exposition just in case you somehow managed to miss something.

It’s a lot of repeating because they jump constantly from scene to scene.

And they have about 45 minutes of commercials.

Nothing ever happens until Fridays. ABC soaps were the exception when I was little, but I don’t think any of those are on anymore except for maybe General Hospital

My mom used to tape Days of Our Lives on the same VHS tape I used for taping airings of Dragon Ball Z. I started noticing a similarity between the two of them in how they would draw out plotlines for several episodes. I'm convinced DBZ is a soap opera.
