The saddest thing is that the furthest thing from their mind is us, the public, even the ones who vote for them. It’s about power and the money that comes with power. All humanity is lost. I think politicians used to have genuine beliefs, you could agree or not. Little of that now.

I took a look at what The Conservative Party had to say on the topic of Child Sexual Abuse in their 80-page General Election Manifesto.
"We will bring the mandatory reporting provisions of the Criminal Justice Bill into force as soon as possible"....

I'm not sure it needs wider reporting.
What it does need is for the political journalists in this country to behave like real journalists.
From LBC to the BBC right through GB News and Talk Radio the level of right wing supporting journalists is worrying
