I need more savory pie adventures. They might be the best kind of adventures, frankly .

Meat pie is for dinner with left over t-bone steak from the other night. I sauteed some onions, carrots, and garlic. I also made instant home style mashed potatoes. The hot water pastry is from KAB

any time i want to 1) make sure my spouse feels loved adored and very special and 2) use up leftovers to clear out the fridge it's only math to put everything into a bit of pastry. pie shaped dinner is elegant by definition

Everyone gets a couple unitasker exemptions! I have a potato ricer, a gnocchi paddle, a pasta, roller, a meat grinder, a particularly excellent cheese grater. I also have a basement where some of those things go to die.
