I think from the huge number of "Musk is surprising Trump allies" stories and "That stupid OPM memo wasn't actually Trump it was a crony going awol" etc. etc. Show that the mad king's court is about what you'd expect: massive infighting, backstabbing, and no capability to act in a unified manner

There are, transparently, very few things that Trump actually believes in. You can see this with his complete disinterest in the ceremonial functions of the Presidency recently. However, he's made it real clear that tariffs are His Thing.

Canadian govt has covid style relief measures ready to go if he slaps tariffs tomorrow. What does he have in place? Like if my relatives in Iowa have to pay $7 a gallon for gas, it’s nothing to me, they voted for it, but I don’t think they are expecting this.
