I once felt a relatively mild earth tremor while lying in bed on my back on the second floor; it felt like a giant bubble had risen through the earth under the house and popped when it got to the surface. It's the most insecure I've ever felt in a building.

Earthquakes are creepy af. I woke up to a 5.0 one time less than a mile from the epicenter at around 3:30 am in Fremont, CA. I couldn’t sleep the rest of the night. I wasn’t scared. Just creeped the fucked out. It’s too big. Too much energy. Idk 🤷‍♂️
