The two major parties have decided this election won’t be fought on climate change.
Let’s decide otherwise.
Vote for Climate 200 candidates.
Vote Greens.

Taking Liberal seats off them is one of the best ways to ensure Dutton doesn’t become PM.
In a seat where the plausible outcomes are Lib or Lab I’d definitely vote Labor, but in many seats the independent is the only plausible contender.
Everyone needs to convince one person.
I hope we look back and see this election as a surprise for that political cartel.
FOR THE FUTURE OF THIS COUNTRY!
Because right now it's not looking very bright.
It's looking like dark times ahead!
IF we don't take our FREEDOMS seriously!
WE are going to loss all of them !
Not just us WOMEN anymore ⁉️
WILL YOU FIGHT FOR OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS ⁉️🤷♀️🤔
WAKE UP AMERICA
I was reminding AMERICA about our elections.
👍🏻 😊😉
They have strong focus on health, education, social justice as well as the environment.
Under Albo, the ALP is just slightly less shit than Dutton.
And it’s certainly not the right time to risk that.
Labor need to grow a pair, they have some good people, but under Albo they are gutless and so disappointing.
They’re not a serious option for government at this stage, just for balance of power cross bench.

A few have been pushing tax reform and larger issues, I reckon gone missing a bit on defence, AUKUS and foreign affairs. It is a difficult mix for an independent, will be interesting to see how they manage this.
The relationship between electorate and MP may be changing as we watch? An expectation of actual representation is interesting.
Considering that the Greens have steadily grown their working class support, They ought to start taking the Unions away from Labor.
That should perhaps help explain a little for you?
Big plus for independents.
Australians: use more fuel for vehicles and gas for your cooking.
That’ll fix everything

My Monique corflute is already proudly on display!
You can give Greens your first preference, Labor #2 pref.
Voting Green #1 also
- sends message to Labor that we want more progressive govt.
- gives Greens some $
- gives Greens more momentum for next time
Try explaining that logic to me.
You saw it with the Gillard government.
So a ALP led minority government would be our best hope. IMO.
Gillard was one of the most successful govts in passing legislation. Including meaningful climate legislation, in cooperation with the Greens.
That's the reality. Murdoch did his work. I live on bluecollar planet and climate change is nowhere.
But this election IS existential: it's between Trump and the real world.
Do we want to win that or not? The world is realigning. Catch up.

This is why there's been a massive propaganda campaign in favour of the far right. Big Oil is a) really, really big and b) really, really mad. They want their monopoly back.
Climate naysayers, integrity dodgers and genocide supporters are off my Halmark Greeting Card list!
I know how to use my preferential voting privilege.
Top: Greens and climate-action independent(s);
Middle: ALP and other mediocre candidates;
Bottom: L/NP, UAP, PHON, and other morons, arseholes, and bigots.
The exact order in each group will depend on the specific candidates.
i.e. Our liberals and the liberals ion the USA do not have the same values.
Our libs are more like their GOP.
Ex. In canada, we have Libs, Cons, NDP, Green, the Bloq
It’s hard to put aside our personal preference and be real about who can actually win a seat, but if we can do it we can get some great results.
The last round ended up being Liberal/Labor, with Labor winning on preferences.
300 more 1 votes for the Green would have seen them in the last 2 and winning on preferences.
I think as long as your first two or three places are in place the rest can just go anywhere. It’s near impossible to work out which is the worst.
Preferential and compulsory voting make a huge difference.
That one major party sucks less than the other isn’t enough, we’re demanding better than that.
I want Greens to take Labor seats and Climate 200 independents to take Liberal seats, a Labor minority government will be an excellent result.
Labor have let us down badly
That’s why former Labor voters are SO pissed off.
But we refuse the choice of the lessor of two evils
My world has colour and vibrancy not monochrome and safe, comfy boredom
Kent is a broader thinker. He's right.
This RW neolib “Labor” need their arses kicked so that the next gen of their parliamentarians know they have to stand for the Labor ethos or FRO !
The Uniparty must be put in minority gov!
#Auspol
I think framing it as "you're helping or your not" is very binary thinking that ignores the fact that we can both prevent a slide to the right *and* push for more from the government.
You have a bigger issue in that he’s not joking about making Canada the 51st state. While your goals are commendable and should be pursued, if you lose your sovereignty you will have our anti green policies as yours.
It’s tiring warning people of obvious dangers right in front of them and them blowing it off and finding out.
We shrug and move on
I’ll take those qualities & build from there any day.

So what do you think Climate 200 is?
What do you think #AusPol means?
Let me help you out.
The post is about the upcoming Australian federal election. Your advice isn’t required. Your assumption that everywhere is America is one of the reasons people in other countries are a bit weary of Americans.
Vote strategically for the Candidate who will beat the Conservative in your riding.
Rusted on Labor people are doing a full on hate fest of Greens.
Recent #insiders interview Adam Brant brilliant.
Watching Insiders Clips Interview with Greens Leader Adam Bandt in iview https://iview.abc.net.au/show/insiders/series/0/video/INCL2025105057864
Worth keeping in mind, and voting to ensure the candidate who can take a seat off the coalition has every advantage.
Then rusted on folks wonder why Greens voters aren’t that interested in what Labor has to say now they want votes.
I can’t for the life of me understand why Labor has such a visceral hatred of Greens.
With Anthony Albanese it’s palpable.
Without Greens preference votes Labour wouldn’t be in government.
Or maybe Grayndler is closer than we know and it’s self defence?
Please do your research and vote wisely 🗳️
Don’t let fear prevent change, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I can only imagine the vitriol that’s appearing on the bad place
It’s Dutton who is spreading baseless fear
In Sturt, however, the ALP comes close and the Greens have a hope so liberal indies are less appealing.
There are great examples from the US in the current administration that prove my point.
Liberals thanks.
#AusPol means Australian politics.
And we really don’t require your advice on how to run elections right now.
We have our share of thoughtless people, but the fundamentals are in place to make things as fair as possible.
#VoteBlue
If not, don't pretend to stand against climate change.
What is it, then?
There are places in the world that aren’t America.
In Australia you preference parties so you can vote 1 for the Greens (and ours aren't tankies like yours) and still vote to keep the people you most dislike/distrust out of office.

I could never bring myself to vote LNP even though Theo is a nice guy (just misguided ideology)
Climate 200 candidates are mostly standing in coalition seats, where’s the risk?
We need to vote cleverly, for everyone.
The house of reps will be the usual suspects, it’s just how big the cross bench can be.
People in absolutely safe seats can also help out in other seats, try to get rid of a Liberal elsewhere.
For the common good, even if it’s not our preferred option.
The Green rep is a land developer ,and the other is the Weed group .
I like choices that fit me and mine ,but I don't have one .
I see Teals as the traditional form of liberals - before opposition to workers movements brought them together in a party.
Even so, on a case by case basis, some indies are better than others and most Teals are better than the LNP on social liberalism and tolerance in particular.
Each electorate is free to vote them out again, and being involved means that will be an informed choice.
It’s all positive to me.
I don't know much about Australian politics, but I'm surprised they both are ignoring reality.
And he got a majority!!!!
