I would simply argue the "White Jesus" originates from cultural comprenshion of the originating worldview, based on their individual self-conceptualization. If, CENTURIES AGO, people did not have wide exposure to the world -- which was largely true in the 15th/16th centuries, western...
European cultures would have based their understanding upon the predominant and culturally accepted/understood ideas of that time. The British monarchy and dominant traditions viewed that as the "White Jesus."
What IS wrong is refusing to acknowledge, consider, or accept that Jesus is or could be anything other than Causaian, and that is the problem, at least in my opinion. People must become willing and more comfortable to step outside their comfort zone and examine these ingroup-outgroup biases.
