President Jimmy Carter, our 39th President who lived to be 100, was one of our finest examples of humility and humanity. He demonstrated perfectly how a former President should conduct himself.
I am saddened by news of his passing, but feel privileged to have seen him.

The Carter administration happily supported the genocide in East Timor, with generous arms shipments to Indonesia, all the way up until 1979.
that's "great integrity"..... right?
with all those parameters in place I am honored to have shaken this man's hand.
now compare that to trump, who is an active domestic threat to the nation I served.
It's not even hard.
Especially in contrast to some who seem more interested in their own legacy than helping people.
