I would argue that it is these small acts of ordinary love that are the granular element of a greater power. It's beyond time to build meaningful coalitions of love, imperfect but scalable. It's about connection, not perfection.

I cannot believe how much hate I've gotten over this post today.
Not as much as the love, but man it made it a harsh day. I put my phone down till now to recover. And then I lost one of my real life friends who's been mocking me every time we talk since the election. I had to cut her out. 😔
I have had similar experiences and for a few days did not look at my phone. It's her loss, if they can't even win with dignity I wonder how they would have behaved if they lost. Sad times full of unethical corruption.

That makes sense. During WWII it was every ordinary citizen who took children in, hid families, forged passports, smuggled people or supplies, etc. They stopped it from winning together.
Agree. Have a 9 month old coming to live with me. We furnished her room for under 50. So many gave her free stuff. Some were even fans of trump. Just shows me that underneath all of the politics they are still good of heart.
I agree wholeheartedly. I have tried to encourage people around me to keep showing up as the kind, decent, empathic, loyal, believers in freedom that they are. We are all STILL HERE. Every person CAN every day, make a difference.
