They’re stopping WIC payments.
WIC provides nutrition (& healthcare) to pregnant women & children under 5.
Despite being massively underutilized, >50% of all US babies rely on WIC.
Every $1 spent on prenatal WIC benefits saves >$3 in healthcare expenses (mostly to taxpayers) in the 1st yr of life

It is unbelievably expensive
Every Republican who voted for this is an irredeemable piece of shit.
But a significant majority of people who benefit from the cut programs either voted R b/c of the "price of🥚s" or stayed home.
This country is an alcoholic-it needs to hit bottom & the sooner the better.
I hate the pain that will come but sometimes pain is the only sufficient motivator.
Even when my family had an active duty MILITARY member, we used WIC when my both my siblings were born 5 years apart.
If an active duty military family with insurance and etc can't feed their fam w/out WIC, how can anyone?
Without Head Start in the early 70s I would've been much worse off as would the rest of the kids there with me.
I dare say stopping these programs is edging toward eugenics. No hyperbole, no hysteria. From experience.
Talk about your shock and awe a lot of those red hat voters are going to assume this does not apply to them.
Welcome to the kakistocracy.
Strong work, America!
They don’t care about women.
They don’t care about making Americans healthy.
They don’t care about nutrition.
They don’t care about lowering costs (like food and healthcare) for Americans.
They don’t care about reducing government spending.
They really don’t care.
They’re pulling the ladder up and shoving anyone trying to climb to the ground
it's painful to see higher ed financial assistance be dismantled :(
We're referring to the wheat.
