Neither funny nor fun. Honestly not sure why you’d follow me. Anybody upset about pronouns in a bio deserves to be upset (he/him).

Rufo called me a groomer and sent his audience after my family because I said I was fine with my daughter going to therapy. CPS got called. It took months to get rid of them. My former colleagues thought it was hilarious and did nothing.

Oh fuck, what a grift. J6 terrorists sue a DOJ controlled by Trump; Trump orders DOJ lawyers to settle for an undisclosed amount, both sides agree to an NDA. This can happen dozens, hundreds of times. Just an ingenious way to funnel tax dollars to far-right terrorist groups.

“Actually, we are both stupid as hell.”

okay, it’s time for me to finally weigh in: it’s probably a bad sign that guys are just doing sieg heils in public again

No, the mail is not “the least of our worries.” It’s a fucking important worry. It is the only postal service that delivers to every address. They are only provider of complete mail services for overseas military bases and provide free overseas PO boxes. They help prepare passport apps. Ship meds…

Why did Elon Musk leave South Africa? Because it became too woke

Fictional villains: my motivation involves a complex backstory around lost love and a deep yearning to be understood Real life villains: being cruel makes me feel like a big strong man

Another way to put this: Musk and his twerps have exposed us to pandemics, broken science, stolen all your data, endangered the U.S. payments system, threatened air traffic control, and cut off HIV medication to 20m people in order to save ::checks notes:: 2/10th of a percent of the federal budget.

WordleBot defeated! (Perfect game!)

If you corner most bigots with logic & reason & science, they’ll fully non-sequitur (“you’re insane / talking nonsense”, the projected form of “where am I, who are you, i have no memory of this”) or clam right up. They will refuse to cede the point, because for them, argument is a formality.

Media literacy moment. If you wonder why journalists avoid using the word “Lie” it’s simple. It’s difficult to prove someone is knowingly lying in court. They could just say something incorrect without knowing it. Using terms like “liar or lie” opens up journalists to lawsuits. That’s it.

X is blocking links to @signal.org, now widely used to discuss / report on Washington. Same technique (flagging as 'potentially harmful') that X has used to block / throttle Bluesky, Instagram, NYT, Reuters & Substack. When Twitter derailed links to Hunter Biden story, Musk called it "tyranny."

Musk and his army of dipshits on Twitter keep pointing to Bill Clinton’s federal worker reduction in the 1990s to defend Trump. The difference? Congress passed a law that Clinton signed, he didn’t just get the nearest billionaire to illegally start dismantling the government based on his whims.

The Washpost, which is bleeding millions of dollars and shrinking its staff, accepted -- and then rejected -- a $115,000 ad that criticized Elon Musk. Anyway, here's the ad that the Post's business side didn't want its readers to see ⤵️ thehill.com/media/514849...

?? It’s no mystery where the money goes; this has been asked and answered. 70-75% of US spending is on Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, Pentagon and veterans + interest on the debt. Foreign aid is 1% of the budget. You can read this in a CBO or OMB report! Easily available.

In Nazism this was called the Führerprinzip, which meant that everything Hitler wanted was legitimate and beyond the rule of law. Just saying..

Hey, is there maybe another instance of a political party in power who is receiving no meaningful opposition? Like, maybe one Rubio is very familiar with?

Attributed to Napoleon, who ended democracy in French, this quote was also used by Anders Breivik, the far-right anti-immigrant terrorist who murdered 77 people

I wonder how many people on social media could resign from their jobs today on principle.

I haven’t read what I would consider a “lot” of books about fascism (although probably more than the average American). It’s worth noting that 100% of the books I HAVE read had a chapter dedicated to masculinity.

They are setting up a new forever war, then.

This is an important point I think. Opposition to Musk isn't based on philosophical or political views. It's between people who know when they're being conned and people who don't. Whether we still have a functioning country after this depends on how many of us fall for the wallet inspector gag

This upside-down notion—that if an elected politician commits crimes in office, it’s undemocratic to hold them accountable—is a big part of why America is in this mess. No, winning an election does NOT grant permission to break the law. Yes, following democratically enacted laws is democratic.

“I don’t know of a case where an organization has been transparent than DOGE” is one of those weird “lying with the truth” situations that implicitly acknowledges Musk is an ignorant shithead who has never looked into anything in a meaningful way…

Have confirmed the same. Truly fucked up. And, should go without saying, illegal.

I think it's worth repeating plainly that a federal judge halted Musk's federal funding freeze nearly two weeks ago but funds are still very much being frozen in violation of the court order.

Happy International Day of Women in Science. The National Science Foundation’s list of flagged words includes both “Women” and “Female.”

Translation: Trump’s plan to fight inflation is increased unemployment and lower wages.

"The excuse offered after World War II by enablers of the fascist Nazi regime of 'just following orders' has long been rejected in this country's jurisprudence." bsky.app/profile/empt...
