There are a LOT of sickening revelations about Blue Cross in here but I want to highlight that they found while Blue Cross denied payments for thousands of breast reconstruction procedures they approved special deals on those procedures for executives’ wives.

The center appealed thousands of Blue Cross reimbursements for being too low.
At trial, the insurer revealed that it had never considered any of the appeals — and that they were pointless:
“An appeal is not available to review an underpayment.”

There's an inconsistency between speaking dismissively of "nice tits"
and disparaging Blue Cross for refusing to pay very high prices for procedures performed by a particular provider.
I used the term to try to highlight the viewpoint of the executives, and not to reflect my own personal views.
I wish that everyone in need of reconstruction had access to the “premium” level of care without having to be married to a healthcare executive to get it.

I mean probably even before then. You fuck around and kill people's loved ones and the find out phase can be pretty dangerous.
Wait…no I’m not.
