As someone who lived in Central Florida for 20 years... in Lakeland, Orlando, Tampa, Cocoa, and Winter Haven... I'm not sure I would consider Sarasota to be Central Florida... and since it is in the Southwest Florida region. Even Manatee County is Southwest Florida.
