this is not the first time the sentence "alvin and the chipmunks got put on the no fly list" has been shown to me, and every time I have to remember that I saw this in theaters and I can confirm this is a real point. Alvin gets him and the chipmunks marked as terrorists.
Why right-wing comedians aren't allowd on planes? Because they always bomb...
Just kidding. Both left and right wingers are welcome as long as they really travel on the wings.
I'd like to think that legions of people have attempted to edit this article over the years, and every single one of them quickly came to the certain realisation that nothing they could possibly add to it would in any way represent an improvement.
I like how you can clearly tell these are naked T-posing models of the chipmunks (especially obvious if you look at theodore cuz you can see his shoulders)
i guess i fail to see how this is helpful for english as a secon language when the regular wikipedia will teach you lots of new words and will provide the definition for them as well, but it definitely looks good for children.
It’s the same reason why not everything is written with the prose of classic literature or the density of legal and scientific documents.
If someone just wants to learn something and maybe practice their basic reading, but doesn’t want to spend potentially hours on vocab, this is a useful tool.
I’m glad this turned out to be some perverse “Simple English” alternative to normal Wikipedia and not a “prepare for Trump to be president” dumbing down and history cleansing of normal Wikipedia.
Everyone thinks that those plane freakouts where someone gets de-planed and arrested get on the no fly list--No they don't. At best they end up on that particular airline's banned customers list, but usually even then that's only for 1-3 years.
I'm pretty sure that this Wiki page used to have that very message on it until people on the internet pointed out the ambiguity of "adding to it"... so they tweaked the wording a bit.
Simple English is basically treated as a separate language version of Wikipedia. Like all versions of Wikipedia, there’s an article for anything that editors have decided to create an article for (and meets notability criteria).

there's an introduction, an explanation and an example.
I think it counts
Anyway, the *actual* Wikipedia article is woefully incomplete, with ZERO mention of Alvin and the Chipmunks: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Fly_List

also look at theodore

I’m actually hoping there are no notes on this entry.
needs more knowledge added to it.
