Baryon Panic could definitely happen it's just very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very unlikely
It's a common misconception that the sea peoples are the cause of radioactive decay when it is infact much more likely that they are the symptom of the same decay affecting a particle's neighbours
Fungal decay actually wasn't possible until just a couple hundred million years ago, when a group of them evolved enzymes that allowed them to break down gluons
