Sehe ich genauso. Das Video zeigt auch auf, wie teuer das Gedankenexperiment ist. Deswegen war ich angeregt dazu, die von vielen in den Raum gestellte Fantasie, eine Siedlung auf dem Mars anzulegen, zu thematisieren

Pretty much the first thing he said was sheltered in regular atmosphere, so the first thought doesn't apply.

Not sure I understand the second thought. Light and dark side is from the perspective of the Earth and would have no bearing on the light received by the Moon swimming pool.

it's only 10% more dense, I'd guess it'd be like high end of salt water (dead sea is 1.24 kg/m^3, heavy water is 1.1kg/m^3)
