Judged from the draft it has no cargo, so maybe it simply got a message from the company about a new load to pick up.
And btw. all companies are "gunrunners" if they're paid. Danish ships brought weapons from korea to Balkan in the 90's and old tanks from Poland to Sudan as well.

The drilling from land to seabed was made early 2023. I'm sure the fiber cable is there now, but unsure if it's in use yet.

Her last voyage took her St Petersburg - Pointe Noire, Congo and to the U-turn.

Carries something too hot for Baltics, going to Kola? Got a new job?

This Russian gunrunner with the very peculiar go-2-days-into-Baltics-turn-around-track ended up in Kola as predicted.

Guess: carried something of military nature, where some Russian intelligence service said "Turn around, Baltics too hot right now"

It U-turned at the start of Yi Peng 3-saga.
