Used to live in France: trans healthcare there is informed consent (no dysphoria diagnosis needed), which not to say there aren’t proper checks, and a “long-term condition” so certain related care is free (eg hormones)/ partly-paid for (eg facial electrolysis). So much easier; so much faster.

I'm not sure when things changed tbh. I was under the impression from the endocrinologist that a diagnosis hadn't been required for a few years and they seemed shocked about UK waiting times. Whether France's current, more progressive position stays that way remains to be seen if the RN take power.

The conclusion was "current system is giving appropriate medical interventions, but could be giving more for more kids. Recommendation: double their funding"
