No cobwebs, but it’s kind of like a wall of CDs that’s hidden behind another wall of CDs. Seismic activity in the last few years has made it increasingly tough to access the inner layer; you’ve gotta really want that Limbo CD—I did!—to make it worth the effort.

My CDs spend much of the last few years I was in SF in boxes, and much of 2022 being shipped from SF to Lyon & finally to Copenhagen. I love having them easily available again for moments exactly like you describe. So much of my 1990s music collection is on CD.

I barely organize anything. Major artists get clumped together, but that’s about it. But I needed to have all the 4AD stuff in one place for a project I was working on many years ago and have kept it together since, mostly by benign neglect.
